Rebaudioside-M 95% stevia powder is the Next Generation of stevia sweetener. Pure ingredient of a highly purified Rebaudioside-M ≥ 95%, the rest is Stevioside. This fomula has higher sweetness intensity, no bitterness, no liquorice, or aftertaste. It tastes almost identical to sugar. While Rebaudioside-A found in 5% of the stevia leaves, Rebaudioside-M found in only less than 0.1% of the stevia leaves. That’s why Reb-M is significantly more expensive than Reb-A. After considerable research of this particular stevia product, i made a decision to purchase from a Canadian company - buy Canadian! Ever Stevia describes the RM95 extract powder as having "no aftertaste, lingering taste or bitterness." I trusted that was true. I was really disappointed when I then tasted it and found that it actually did have a lasting bitter aftertaste. It did not taste like sugar to me. To be fair, I have not tried baking with it but I'm not hopeful. My experience, YMMV.
I have tried at least a dozen stevia brands. All of them have some bitter / licorice / after taste.
I typically blend with other sweeteners. This is the first that has no aftertaste. A lot of sweetness. I blend with allulose and it is pretty indistinguisable from sugar. I'll also have this only in some drinks, works great, although hard to measure since it is so sweet.
It is costly but worth it.
Have been using these products for years on my Keto diet and especially the new M version is very versatile. Compared to A, I can use M in coffee or homemade iced tea, without altering the taste - just like you would with sugar. Highly recommended.
